Crafted from a unique silky PLA blend, our Gold filament has an exquisitely smooth, luscious texture, and a bright, opulent yellow color that glistens naturally, reflecting light beautifully from 3D printed surfaces.

The material prints at similar temperatures to normal PLA, but it has a more rubbery texture, and stays pliable longer as it cools. Use patience and caution when removing it from the print bed. Performs best in prints with large flat areas. The polygons of the 3D model will reflect the light like the vertices of an expertly-cut diamond. For maximum sheen and color vibrancy, use a low speed and layer height.

We only use premium clear plastic spools, so you can always see how much filament you have left. Every spool is shrink-wrapped with a desiccant packet in a re-closeable ziplock bag.
